Dr. Brett's Specialties: Sports Mental Coaching, Life Coaching, Business Mental Coaching I specialize in the mental game in businesses, life, and sports. More specifically, I teach The Big Five Performance Enhancing Fundamentals: Presence, Meditation, Mindfulness, Visualization and Breath-Work. Each of these techniques and ways of being greatly enhance self-awareness and self-discipline and lead to significant breakthroughs in the ability to handle stress and pressure. Athletes and leaders learn to thrive under pressure where previously they may have faltered. In addition, we will address stress, anger management and communication issues. This leads to greater clarity and much better decision making! We will address self-sabotage in all its disguises: fear of failure, fear of success, not feeling good enough or even worthy and thus move through obstacles that previously seemed frustrating and at times overwhelming and go beyond what seemed possible! With a dynamic yet pragmatic approach to helping others, I offer a unique combination of business savvy, life and work experience and sports psychology! Dr. Brett's History (Established in 1997) I've been working with individuals, athletes, and businesses for over two decades. I received my doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego in 1995 and my psychology license from the state of Connecticut in 1997. For nearly a decade, I focused primarily on adolescents and families. Over time, I focused more and more on helping entrepreneurs and athletes. Having developed the ability to help people with performance issues, business issues and relationship issues, today I offer a profoundly unique combination of sports psychology, life coaching, and business consulting.
