Dynamics Research Group (DRG)

Based in the School of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Civil Engineering at the University of Sheffield, the DRG is a friendly and collaborative group of Academics, Postdoctoral Research Associates and PhD Researchers. The five main areas of research include: structural health and condition monitoring (SHM), nonlinear system identification, damping and structural control, nonlinear structural dynamics, and acoustics. The DRG also leads the Laboratory for Verification and Validation (LVV) - a unique facility enabling research into the Verification & Validation (V&V) of engineering models across test scales and in all environments.
