Healthy Communities are active and interactive. DropInSports means to facilitate powerful connections through Sport and Recreation in Ottawa, and beyond. DropInSports.ca is an ambitious innovative new enterprise that will meet significant demands from several players in the community and will increase connections, promote healthy living, break down barriers, and redefine how people enjoy recreational sports. DropInSports will be able to engage local sport clubs, amazing staff and volunteers, and sport experts to bring recreational sport at various levels in an organized, safe, and fun way to events at any location in the city of Ottawa. Two marquis events will take place each year in Ottawa - the Community Kicks in June, and the Harbour Harvest in February. These fundraisers will feature opportunities for anyone to join in and our job will be to ensure a welcoming and social environment that gets you in the game and raises funds for a charity of choice selected by the volunteer committees. Our keys to success will be our people, our connections, technology integration, our equipment, and our ability to plan tailored recreational events (event services) and activities that focus on healthy living, increasing social and professional networks, accessible sport, and the needs of the client/corporate partners.
