SIMPLY EFFECTIVE INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTIONS The Digital Railway Solutions Alliance is a novel alliance of leading European railway track technology pioneers offering an open innovation ecosystem to increase the safety, efficiency and capacity of the world’s railway networks. It brings together best-in-class, technology driven companies, each with a determined focus on optimising railway networks utilising the latest advances in digital innovation, automatisation and data processing. We create sustainable, cost-effective, convenient end-to-end solutions to increase safety, efficiency and capacity by: o Leveraging digital innovation o Combining the domain knowledge of all partners o Creating overarching synergies for global partners and clients o Optimising infrastructure through interconnectivity, predictive maintenance, downtime reduction & increased safety o Fostering strong institutional relationships to benefit all partners and stakeholders HOW IT STARTED o In October 2021, DRS convened select providers of highly innovative services and products to address the #1 priority of the rail infrastructure industry: radically increased safety, efficiency and capacity. o Over two days, participants identified key issues to solve, created a shared vision and how to collaborate in form of a new alliance to drive digital, end-to-end solutions: the DRS Alliance. o From Nov 2021 to May 2022, in a series of deep-dive meetings, details of the new alliance were shaped. o In May 2022, at the iaf expo, the first phase of DRS Alliance launched with 15 core companies actively involved. o We are now working to expand the DRS Alliance to an innovation platform driving seamless next-generation infrastructure solutions. o Phase two will focus on strengthening end-to-end solutions for critical railway infrastructure in Europe. o Starting in 2023, the DRS Alliance aims to reshape the future of rail mobility across the globe.
