Rail Track Analyzer GmbH (RTA) is the radiologist for track beds. Where radargrams appear as incomprehensible grayscale images to the untrained eye, we have used them for 30+ to analyze the condition of the ballast in the track bed, identify areas of mud or clay and determine the layers of the ballast structure to provide railway infrastructure managers with a solid basis for drilling and maintenance decisions, while ensuring we set realistic and achievable expectations for GPR analysis.
