DVI Equity Partners specializes in micro-cap investments in start-up and early stage companies. We seek to be the first institutional money in (Series A) with the goal of helping build out the company. We are focused in technology-related sectors, emerging-growth, and growth-equity investments at the expansion stage. While our preference would be companies located in the Southwest (California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Nevada, Colorado, Utah), we are motivated more by fit than location. We look for companies developing disruptive/disintermediating technologies within the industries they service. While not industry specific it is our goal to search for opportunities in areas that we can add value either through technological experience, operational excellence, management augmentation or personal relationship build out. We seek opportunities that have a technology focus on enterprise software and entrepreneurs who are using technology and data to transform, unlock value and deliver new insights in established industries. Although not exhaustive, we will look for specific opportunities in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Cyber Security, Video Analytics, Robotic Process Automation, Process Improvement and Automation. Our investment strategy is one in which we consider both financial return and social/environmental good to bring about a positive change. We seek to build both a diverse and progressive portfolio and an environment that female and minority entrepreneurs have an equal opportunity to get their companies funded.
