The Eastern Africa National Networks of AIDS and Health Service Organizations (EANNASO) is a regional umbrella body bringing together civil society (CS) and community group (CG) voices to inform policies and improve the programming of HIV, TB, Malaria, and other health issues present in the communities. EANNASO's secretariat is based in Arusha, Tanzania. The location is strategic given the fact that it is where most regional bodies in East Africa are located such as the East African Community (EAC)-currently the fastest-growing Regional Economic Community.
Our key achievements;
- Over 25 Supported civil society and community groups from Anglophone and Lusophone African countries to engage in Global Fund country and regional processes.
- Over 5600 CSOs and Community groups reached
- We are present in more than 7 East African countries. (Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania [Mainland and Zanzibar] and Uganda)
