Easter Attack Survivors Project

Easter Attack Survivors Project company information, Employees & Contact Information

In 2019, on Easter Sunday, 9 suicide bombers blew themselves up across multiple Churches and Hotels in Sri Lanka. An act of religious terrorism that killed and injured hundreds, and left many more bereft of their loved ones, this highly coordinated attack shook the World. The Easter Attack Survivors Project was born with the dawn of 2021. A dynamic group of volunteers came together to create a platform for the Survivors of this tragic attack. The website launched www.easterattacksurvivors.org is a platform for the survivors to share their stories or tributes so that others (including other survivors and family members) may use the narratives to aid in the healing process and so that the general public can be made aware of the struggles and battles the survivors face on a daily basis coping with their losses. The Easter Attack Survivors Project is Co Lead by three youth representatives from the three ethnic groups of Sri Lanka: the Sinhala, Tamil, and Muslim communities, namely Seth Ganepola, Lughadarini Yogarajah, and Aamina Muhsin.
