I have known I would be a helper since my first high school psychology class. Having been blessed with many opportunities and amazing mentors along the way, I have always believed that my knowledge, which was shared with me by those who came before me, should be passed along and shared generously to others.You will find me competent, compassionate and ready to dig in to the tough stuff. After many years of practice and leadership in a state of the art healthcare system for eating disorders and other mental health challenges, I had an opportunity to take time with my own family and reflect on my next steps. I believe the space where I am needed the most is supporting families and caregivers. Many families are desperate for support, confused on how to be involved and resources are limited, especially if the loved one is an adult.
