Since 1987, ecos creates added value for the environment, the society and the economy as a whole with the aim of improving livelihoods over the long term. For those wishing to pursue this goal, we are your reliable and expert partner. As an interdisciplinary think tank, ecos plans and implements projects, manages the administrative offices of foundations and associations such as GIB, eco.ch and Oekomedia. Moreover, we advise companies, government organisations and NGOs on their management processes and on their sustainability communication. Our employees are experts in their fields and have a diverse cultural background. They work in national and international contexts, are customer- and result-oriented. The clients that we work with come from various segments: private companies, non-profit organisations, public sector institutions, associations, municipalities, cantons and foundations. Our activities are based on four basic principles of sustainable development: - An intact, natural environment forms the global basis for human life; nature shapes and supports our society. - A socially and culturally integrated society builds the framework for a successful economy. - The economy will only generate more long-term value for the environment, society and investors if we use resources carefully and productively. - Today’s generations should live their lives in a way that does not inhibit, but rather increase the chances for future generations to enjoy their lives.
