Ecosystem Coldharbour is a consortium of local organisations ML Community Enterprise, Spiral Skills, Ebony Horse Club, Juvenis and CHIPS (Christian International Peace Service) dedicated to tackling violence affecting young people.
We work with individuals, families and grassroots organisations to create safer, healthier and more empowered communities. Through transformative youth work, targeted interventions and tailored capacity-building, we support local organisations to equip young people with the tools to thrive.
Our focus areas include Brixton Acre Lane, Brixton North, Brixton Rush Common, Brixton Windrush & Herne Hill and Loughborough Junction - collectively this was formerly known as Coldharbour Ward. With a hyperlocal approach, we prioritise the largest estates, including Angell Town, Loughborough and Moorlands, while also engaging with central Brixton and surrounding areas.
By advocating for essential services, working with statutory partners and amplifying the voices of grassroots organisations, we want to ensure local communities lead the way in shaping sustainable, positive change.
Our mission is to break the cycle of trauma in our community and ensure every young person has the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
