I JUST WANTED TO BE RECOGNISED FOR MY SKILLS
I had major imposter syndrome and constantly thought I wasn’t good enough, I wasn’t clever enough, I wasn’t rich, I didn’t have a following, oh, how the list went on. Job after job of not feeling needed, recognised, and bored to death. I hated being managed. I knew there must be more to life than this, surely? The entrepreneurial archetype that I had inherited from my family inspired me to start a business.
Then came Dostkie, named after my Nana Dot. I sold women’s clothing on an online store and supported many great causes related to mental health and welfare via charitable events. It was GREAT; everyone loved it, apart from its founder (me!) It became clear that I knew nothing about being an entrepreneur.
It wasn’t for me. What was I doing? I know nothing. Hello, Mr. Imposter Syndrome. It's not nice to see you again!
So, I spent the next few years wandering around, still not feeling like I was on the right path, feeling unaligned with my purpose and my values.
I wondered when I would find something that I wanted to do, having zero self-esteem and just waiting, waiting for the day to come. It never did because my ideas, my energy, and my desire for growth, both professionally and mentally, were inside of me the WHOLE time.
So, what now?

I realised the only way to have the life I really wanted was to start up my own business again, doing something I LOVE, something I do every day – TEACHING!
I could not wait for that divine inspiration any longer; the time is now. So here I am. Here we are. Course creation, educational consultancy, and providing training to others.
I am working every day on my dreams, and I promised to myself what ever I do, I’m going to give it my BEST SHOT!
