Education Saves Lives

Our vision is a world where the most disadvantaged communities are equipped with the key facts that can give them more control over their own health, and protect them from threats of diseases and safer living. We create interactive audio-visual lessons about some of these issues. Our successes: • 34 different lessons, translated into over 60 different languages • As of February 2024, a total of 315,279 lessons distributed • 1075 online lessons, ready for access anytime, anywhere • An estimated 63 million viewings • In Rwanda, a 26% reduction in infection by worms and parasites over 6 months after watching the Basic Hygiene DVD • Geneva Global study showed an increase in knowledge of 86% among the most disadvantaged beneficiaries • 12,300 Rwandan healthcare workers trained using Education Saves Lives DVDs • 10% of Rwanda's 12 million population have viewed Education Saves Lives DVDs to date • Winners of Leamington Business Awards 'Not for Profit Excellence' category 2018 "Having a DVD to show people has been a great tool, to really show people how to deal with the disease [HIV/AIDS] in a positive way.
