Eikas Foundation is a not-for-profit initiative working on the vision of education for the head, heart and hands. Domains of work: • Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Develop critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork and other soft skills through a child-driven process of inquiry, investigation and discovery using the school curriculum as a vehicle. • Social emotional learning / Well-being (SEL) Develop self-awareness, self-management, critical thinking, relationship skills and social consciousness in children through discussions, activities and service projects. • Language learning Develop reading, writing, speaking and listening skills through interactive teaching learning methods, exposure to a variety of books and emphasis on reading / writing for communication rather than rote memorization. Facilitate the development of cognitive skills, creativity and social skills and expanding the world of children beyond their immediate surroundings through the power of stories.
