Eikas Foundation is a not-for-profit initiative working on the vision of education for the head, heart and hands. We are currently focused on the following domains: • Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)Approach focuses on helping children develop critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork and other soft skills through a child-driven process of inquiry, investigation and discovery using the school curriculum as a vehicle.• Social emotional learning / Well-being (SEL)Develop self-awareness, self-management, critical thinking, relationship skills and social consciousness in children through discussions, activities and service projects.• Community engagement Kindle children’s connection with the larger community by identifying opportunities for them to serve, networks of mentors and organizations to guide their endeavors and spaces for sharing these experiences and nurturing the spirit of service.We are working with schools, educators and other institutions committed to the cause of education and a better society.

District level education improvement – Leading a team of 40 teacher educators working on the improvement of quality of education in government schools (K-8) through teacher professional development, educational leadership, policy advocacy and institutional development.

Program managing the launch of the Foundation’s work in different district and state centers across the country. Facilitating the formulation of the strategy for educational improvement, planning and launch of operations, people development, policies and co-ordination with other functions like recruitment, finance, infrastructure and IT.

Worked with business, government and non-government clients in areas like strategic planning, operations improvement, and business expansion and program management – pilot and rollout for SME business unit for a national level telecom player, customer segmentation and marketing strategy for wireless data, operational improvement programs for manufacturing clients, advisory to the national government on urban development programs, educational change strategy for philanthropy clients.
