With more than 300 products in 17 different categories, Ekoloji Market is engaged in organic production in fertile lands all around Turkey. Our company, headquartered in Istanbul, processes agricultural products under contract in many parts of Turkey. Organic agriculture is a friendly method for the future of human and nature. In other words, it is a form of controlled and certified agricultural production from production to consumption without using chemical inputs in production. It includes production systems that are friendly to people and the environment and aim to restore the natural balance lost as a result of faulty practices in the ecosystem. While the quality of the product is more important in organic agriculture, the quantity of the product is more important in the classical agricultural method. Businesses that contribute to the environment and human health through organic production should be supported. By breaking new ground in our own facility; “For the first time in Turkey, we produced organic tahini halva from apple juice concentrate.” The “organic carob halva” we produced using organic carob instead of cocoa was highly appreciated for its consistency and taste. Also in our facility: we produce organic tomato paste and sauces, organic tahini, organic pasta, gluten-free flour and pasta. We grind our gluten-free products slowly in our special stone mills. It is our duty and happiness to deliver the products produced with love and labor to mothers and fathers who are fond of their health and to our children who are our future. Organic farming supports local/indigenous seeds. The ancestor seed is protected. Protecting ancestral seeds means protecting future generations. The use of pesticide-free and GMO-free seeds is mandatory in organic agriculture.
