Elita Gıda was founded to process the oilseeds grown in all regions of Turkey, primarily Çukurova
region, with an investment of 20 million dollars in 2006.
Elita Gıda is aiming to be indispensable for everyone all around the world, necessarily targeting its
initial spot as the “Turkish cuisine” by offering a variety of products; corn oil, sunflower seed oil, canola oil, soy and hazelnut oil, virgin olive oil and riviera olive oil within the production chain of ‘From Field to Table’ food safety convenience.
Elita Gıda is one of the few integrated production unit facilities in Turkey. It is processing the oilseeds
to edible fats and oils by supplying the seeds directly from cultivators.
Elita Gıda, which occupies an area of 35,000 square meters, has a production capacity of 180,000
tons of oilseed processing with a team of 200 professional employees. The support of the Sunar groupwith an experience of minimum 20 years in oil production has carried Elita up to the 500 best ISOcompanies of Turkey.
Our company, by having an advanced and distinct technology and a set-up of auto motion system,
minimizes the human flaw in every step of the process, therefore has become one of the most modern production units in Turkey. Putting so much emphasis on food safety results in an implementation of high quality control in every step of the process. Therefore, pursuing its quality, the company invested over a million dollars in establishing one of the most advanced 5 laboratories in Turkey.
