Elderwood Engineering was formed to offer technical engineering services for clients operating in the Chemical Refinery, Oil & Gas, Power Generation market. From its base in Sheffield, UK we can offer a wide variety of services to support your business either onsite, remotely or combination of both. The main Director is apprentice trained degree qualified mechanical engineer specializing in design, drawing and project management of pressure equipment in the Energy, Chemical Refinery and Oil & Gas markets. With over 25 years’ experience in the manufacture of pressure vessels, skid packages, heat exchangers and structural fabrications for blue-chip oil and gas clients. Technical authority on the application of international codes and standards such as ASME VIII division 1 & division 2, PD5500, EN13445 & ASME B31.3, etc. Familiar with all the major oil and gas client specifications and legislation. Extensive knowledge of wide variety materials from Carbon Steel (including Superelso 500®/Diros 500®), clad steels (roll bonded or weld overlaid), through to Austentic Stainless Steels and Duplex, Super Duplex, 904L, Titanium & Hastelloy.
