Eleven was founded by Leyl Black, a marketing and communications executive with 20 years' experience leading high-impact programs for emerging category leaders. Prior to founding Eleven, Leyl led the communications team at One Medical, where she dramatically increased the company's visibility and helped positioned the company as a digital health leader. In 2017, Fast Company named One Medical the #1 Most Innovative Companies in Health. Leyl joined One Medical from Sparkpr, where she built a thriving tech PR practice with accounts such as Wildfire, Payvment, Spredfast, Sharethrough,140 Proof, Bizo, BrightRoll, Topsy and Specific Media. Leyl joined Sparkpr in 2010 after a five-year stint running Marketing Alchemist, a communications consultancy with offices in Seattle and San Francisco. Earlier in her career, Leyl served as vice president of marketing at Sagent and was director of marketing at WhiteLight Systems.
