Embells cic community project is based in Leam Lane, Gateshead. We provide advice, help and support with a range of services and provide emergency support with food parcels, clothing packs, toiletry packs and everyday essentials.
We provide a weekly pop up community market and food pantry to help the local community access free or low cost food and essential items. Everyone is welcome to access our services via self referral or via other support organisations. Our team is made up of a project manager and 30 volunteers who are always in hand to offer a helping hand and listening ear when needed.
During the school holidays we run free activities for the children to help to keep them active, build their confidence and support their wellbeing.
Our community project is always looking for donations which we are able to pass on to those we support or to help to to raise via funds to support our community project.
We love to welcome along organisations, businesses and schools to come along and volunteer with us at Embells. Local support really can help us to make a big difference in our local communities.
