The mission and belief of Embryogenesis is to provide to the infertile couple the best results according to international scientific standards in a human and friendly environment. In embryogenesis, every couple is treated differently according to the cause of infertility, and its specific needs.
Founder & general manager of embryogenesis is Dr. Minas Mastrominas, MD, PhD.
Dr. Mastrominas was trained in all aspects of IVF in Hammersmith Hospital, London, Uk, along with pioneers of human reproduction and in vitro fertilisation like Prof. Edwards. In 1992 he was pointed Director in the Department of IVF at Mitera Maternity Hospital. Since 1994, he founded and directs EMBRYOGENESIS, the largest IVF center of our country.
He has performed more than 70.000 IVF attempts attempts and were born more than 30.000 children. He has been awarded the European Certificate of Excellency in Gynecology and Obstetrics. He has authored numerous articles in Greek and international journals of his specialty. He is a member of the Board of the Greek Society of Fertility and the Hippocratic Foundation of Kos. Also a member of the European Fertility Society, the American Fertility Society.
Co-founder and Lab director is Dr. Steve Davies, MD, PhD.
He is a Senior Clinical Embryologist, certified by ESHRE. Participates actively in the PGD & PGS programs implemented in Assisted Conception Unit 'Embryogenesis', as well as research to optimize biopsy techniques, in order to further investigate the aneuploidy of human embryos.
