Emergence Learning is an educational consultancy committed to mentoring and personalization. Our students come from diverse backgrounds and with diverse learning styles.
We believe a combination of custom-tailored online curriculum, one-on-one mentoring/counseling, project-based learning, experiential learning (internships/apprenticeships), and portfolio development allows each student to shine. This is because each learner is given the tools they need to succeed not only in the present, but for the future.
Our founder has over 25 years of experience as an educator specializing in non-traditional learning, as well as in entrepreneurial environments/start-ups. His belief is that everyone needs certain fundamental skills to succeed in a rapidly-changing future. These skills include, first and foremost, the ability to learn independently and evolve their skills in order to remain relevant. This happens through a combination of creativity, critical thinking, entrepreneurial thinking, social-emotional awareness, communication and teamwork.
With these skills, every student will have the ability to succeed, no matter their learning style or combination of intelligences. That success is our shared dream for and with every student who works with us.
