The operating leverage In this renaissance is a breakthrough insight: that companies and economies are sub-systems of Life – not super-systems that transcend Life. Like the time humanity awakened to the reality that the world is round, rather than flat, this has opened a realm of new possibilities. At a time when economies and companies are burdened by climate change, ecosystem degradation, social divisiveness and compounding debt, organizations that have adopted this model are finding a dynamic new way forward.
