Empathize

Ms. Vedika Ghotane, 27, is the founder of this initiative. Born and brought up in Kolhapur; she is currently (and mostly) based in Mumbai. She holds a bachelor's degree in English Literature & Anthropology from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai (2012-15) and a Master's Degree in Social Entrepreneurship under School of Management & Labour Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai (2016-18). She is facilitating scribes to visually-impaired students & working professionals in Maharashtra and beyond for the last 8 years since her organisation's inception in 2015, through a Facebook Page and a close-knit WhatsApp group of volunteers. Empathize has been instrumental in providing scribes to 300+ (unique) visually-impaired candidates so far.
