EMUiNVENT is a dynamic, interdisciplinary program at Eastern Michigan University (EMU), jointly developed by the GameAbove College of Business, the College of Engineering, and the College of Arts and Sciences. This initiative empowers school students with real-world problem-solving skills by integrating business, engineering, technology, science, and communication into a hands-on, team-based experience. Through a structured seven-step invention process, students collaborate with professors, teachers, scientists, and entrepreneurs to identify challenges, develop innovative solutions, and effectively communicate their ideas. By engaging in this process, students cultivate critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and adaptability—essential skills for the modern world. Interdisciplinary Innovation at Its Core EMUiNVENT emphasizes cross-disciplinary learning, recognizing that innovation thrives at the intersection of diverse fields.
