EncARNa

The increasing social consciousness for an environmentally responsible use of resources is forcing governmental policies to develop sustainable technologies for lowering emission and waste in key sectors of our society, such as energy, transportation, and agriculture. This proposal, with acronym EncARNa, addresses the valorization of biomass waste (lignocellulose biomass) generated in forests and agricultural exploitations through the encapsulation and integration of agrochemically relevant agents in biopolymer matrices, so that the cargo can be subsequently released in a control manner.
