Ugandan-based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to improving the lives of rural communities through sustainable livelihoods, improved agriculture productivity, food security, climate change resilience, and access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). ENCOT foundation was founded in 2006 and registered as a legal entity at Uganda Registration Service Bureau (URSB) on the 22nd of March 2006 Under Registration No. 80020001378877. The foundation is a mission-driven organization that utilizes its income and resources to further its social, charitable, economic and development goals, rather than to enrich individuals or shareholders. The Foundation address various social causes, improve communities, and promote the public good, often relying on earnings from subsidiaries, donations, grants, and volunteer support to achieve her objectives. Characterized by transparency, accountability, and commitment to serve the greater good, the foundation plays vital role in fostering positive change and making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities Uganda. Our mission is to empower smallholder farmers, vulnerable households, and marginalized groups to achieve sustainable livelihoods, food security, and improved health outcomes, while adapting to the challenges of climate change. We work in partnership with local governments, central government, local communities and their structures, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative programs and services that: enhance agricultural productivity and market access, improve food security and nutrition, promote climate-resilient practices and adaptation strategies, increase access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities and support vulnerable households and marginalized groups in Uganda.
