Energy Storage Systems Conference 2024

The Energy Systems Storage Conference will take place between the 23rd and 24th November 2023 in Cape Town, South Africa. Many countries in Africa are looking for new solutions for achieving their green electrification goals and creating more resilience in the grid. Developing energy storage systems in the region could help these efforts, particularly by optimising the use of intermittent wind and solar power. Energy storage is an integral part of reducing imbalances between energy demand and energy production. Energy storage involves converting energy from forms that are difficult to store to more convenient or economically storable forms.
