ENFIT was founded in 2005 as a non-profit organization by logistics companies, cleaning stations food, feed and chemicals producers and other experts in the field industrial production, transport and cleaning, food defense and traceability.
The aim of the association is to develop and publish european and international standards for the safe and hygienic transport of unpacked goods (bulk goods, powder, liquids) in all types of transport boxes, bulk container, silos, tanks, IBC's and other transport containers.
Unwanted cross-contamination with microorganisms, germs, fungi, prions, mycotoxins or other pollutants, such as glass, wood, plastic, metal, or allergens, can lead to costly recall actions by the industry. In addition, the health of consumers can be sustainably damaged.
ENFIT explains the risks in the supply chain and sensitizes the groups involved in the Suppyl Chain.
