Engram Innovations has created a virtual companion to provide companionship for people living with cognitive impairment. Our virtual companion, “Kiera”, is powered by generative artificial intelligence (AI), and can be presented using a virtual reality (VR) headset. Kiera asks the user questions intended to inspire conversation and reminiscence. Conversations with a compassionate virtual companion can improve the quality of life of seniors and people living with cognitive impairment, who may be lonely and long for someone to tell their stories to. At Engram Innovations, we believe that AI-based technology is the future of wellness. Our focus is on improving quality of life, while respecting the privacy, security, and integrity of the user.
