Enoteca Sileno is the trading name of L. Di Santo Pty Ltd, Australia’s oldest established importer, distributor and wholesaler of authentic, regional Italian food and wine products.
Founded in Melbourne in 1953 by Luigi "Gino" Di Santo, entrepreneur and pioneer of the Italo-Australian community, the company has been the Australian distributor of some of the great gastronomic brands of Italy, as well as many artisan producers of note.
Today, under the direction of Luigi’s daughter Rosemary, her husband John Portelli and dedicated, passionate team, Enoteca Sileno continues to set the standard for the distribution of Italian food and wine in Australia.
In addition to the Import Office and Wholesale Division, the business also operates a food & wine retail showroom, online shop, cafe and Scuola di Cucina Cooking School.
Enoteca Sileno has agents and distributors throughout Australia and New Zealand, all of whom share our passion for delivering high quality, authentic Italian food and wine to our customers.
