At Ensign Care, we provide enhanced supervision and therapies for vulnerable and distressed patients affected by dementia, delirium or temporary confusion. Our unique Dementia Support Workers promote patient centred care, engaging with patients and offering stimulating therapies that help keep them calm and safe throughout their hospital stay. All of our staff are trained to use digital, diversion, reminiscence, craft, cognitive and validation therapies to reduce anxiety, keep patients safe and increase the patient experience. Our unique tablets have been designed to stimulate and engage patients in a variety of activities; this includes music, games and videos that promote conversation. With our support, patients can respond better to care and recover faster while lowering the risk of falls.
