Phil Joslin and Alan Bore are co-founders of The Surrey Centre for Counselling, Psychotherapy, and Eating Disorders, with almost 50 years of experience in private practice and managing teams in statutory services.
We have a particular interest in working with the spiritual life as it pertains to that which underlies eating disorders, addictions, and all forms of compulsive behaviours. At the heart of the psychological and physical disorder is inevitably a spiritual conflict regarding meaning, purpose, the struggle to manage loss and grief in all of its forms, and the hope for a life lived free of such pain and conflict.

The Surrey Centre offers various services to help individuals explore and understand their particular difficulties. Using several counselling and therapy styles, from CBT to Person-Centred Counselling and Jungian Analysis, the whole team has huge experience working with people with health issues, eating disorders or substance abuse they wish to resolve and get well.
The Surrey Centre practice provides a range of therapies treatments; one to one support, including online or telephone counselling in a calm and comfortable environment. Our team of counsellors are here to explore and help you move beyond issues that might be holding you back from a life lived with greater meaning and freedom. Both locations offer a sense of peacefulness which enables our clients to focus on their recovery.
