Mineral fertilizers are expensive in a volatile market. +50% of the mineral fertilizers don't get absrobed by plants which makes them cost-ineffective and they also pollute the environment. Producing those fertilisers also pumps out about 1 % of global CO₂. Our solution Enthela replaces part of the mineral fertilizer (NP) with a bio-based fertiliser made from naturally occurring, nitrogen-fixing bacteria. Our micro-encapsulation keeps the microbes alive 5× longer and delivers +42 % nitrogen compared with uncoated strains.
