ENTRETEMPOS

ENTRETEMPOS is an Architecture and Photography studio based in Porto, founded by Vitor Preto Fernandes, in 2021. ENTRETEMPOS aims to transcend the conventional boundaries of Architecture and Photography, intertwining these two mediums in a dialogue between time, space and human experience. As an architectural practice, each project is envisioned as a dynamic process that starts with a profound interpretation of the existing context, aiming to provide a clear and pragmatic response to each specific need. Architecture is thus seen as an opportunity to enhance the physical and social condition of each place through integrated, sustainable and innovative solutions. In its Photography extension, ENTRETEMPOS questions the visual power of emptiness, through a critical perspective of the phase in which architecture is photographed. Instead, it proposes to document the periods when the main transformations of the space-place occur, along with their social interactions: the construction phase ] – 1 [ and, finally, its use ] +1 [.
