Eolotec is an independent developer of mechanical solutions for the wind energy business. The eolotec GmbH was established in February 2012 by W. Losert and M. Pick. Before that the core team of eolotec has already been working for well-known bearing companies as well as for a wind turbine developer. The unique combination of wind turbine and bearing know how since 2004 builds the foundation for excellent bearing solutions and ensures technological leadership to the customers.
The service range reaches from developments of Main Bearing Units starting from the first concept of a wind turbine, to the installation of prototypes and first series production. Next to developments of new solutions eolotec has also gained experience in design reviews and failure root cause analyses, often resulting in the optimization of the bearing system.
Next to bearing systems eolotec`s product portfolio offers sensor systems and devices for testing of bearings as well as for lifting and assembling of wind turbine components.
So far eolotec provides the only certified blade-bearing monitoring system.
