Het Expertisecentrum Ontwikkelingsondersteuning Prematuren (EOP) bestaat uit een team van verschillende professionals dat zich inzet voor de ontwikkeling van het prematuur geboren kind en het welzijn van de vroeggeborene en zijn ouders na ontslag uit het ziekenhuis. Het Expertisecentrum - coördineert de uitvoering, implementatie en kwaliteitsborging van een begeleidingsprogramma voor vroeggeboren kinderen en hun ouders na ontslag uit het ziekenhuis, het TOP programma; - verzorgt onderwijs aan professionals die werkzaam zijn rondom het vroeggeboren kind; - doet onderzoek naar en bevordert innovatie van effectieve en doelmatige ondersteuning bij vroeggeboren kinderen en hun ouders.
