EPIC-SHIFT

EPIC-SHIFT is a groundbreaking, collaborative research program with the goal to deliver a comprehensive, unbiased knowledge base on protein sources from insects, fungi, algae, bacteria, and agriculture and aquaculture by-products, and their place in the food system. The EPIC-SHIFT consortium is made up of 20 organizations from 12 countries. Through advanced research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and stakeholder engagement, we employ a food-systems thinking approach to help understand the role alternative proteins might play in a resilient, equitable and sustainable food system.
