Within EPICS, the IMS team is the team behind application and website development for the betterment of the community. Furthermore, the IMS team is split into two subteams, Impact Earth and the National Kidney Foundation team. The Kidney Foundation subsection uses Flutter, Android Studio, Nutritionix, and Firebase to create a functional diet tracking app made for individuals suffering from chronic kidney disease. On the other hand, the Impact Earth is creating an app with complex calculations to quantify the impact that a specific given projectile from the user would have on Earth today, by utilizing multiple different computer languages. By using a step by step design process, the IMS team continues to develop and push forward these projects so that they reach as many consumers as possible.
