EALS is a catalyst of a worldwide cultural shift around language access, language justice, and language rights. We place Language Accessibility at the forefront of the concepts of Cultural Competence and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. We believe that both concepts can only be possible when Language Access is successfully implemented in public and private practices.
We want to help our US based clients become inclusive by implementing effective language access practices. With approximately 30 million people in the US that are Limited English Proficient (LEP), access is a challenge. Their right to language access is protected by law. With the right mindset, cultural approach, and planning, we can, together, remove language barriers and improve the outcomes of this underserved population while enhancing businesses’ quality of services; reduce language based discrimination; engage with the community as a whole; and have a meaningful impact in society.

HOLISTIC APPROACH
On one hand, we provide assessment, education and training, and consulting on Language Access to our clients. We have over a decade of accumulated knowledge, experience, and research on language access and the impact of language barriers to the LEP population as a whole in settings as varied as: immigration, healthcare, social services, housing, mental health, and the courts. This experience allows us to give our client a well-rounded tool to include their target population of LEPs. On the other hand, we provide a full range of language access solutions such as: Oral and Sign Language Interpretation and Translation in multiple languages, (and multiples settings), Transcription, Transcreation, Localization, Subtitling and Voice Over, and Desktop Publishing.
