Equality on Board Awards

We are excited that the Women’s Board Award Switzerland has been further developed and will now be part of the Equality on Board Awards, an initiative that advances female equality in leadership by shaping and cultivating a future rich with competent, high performing, and diverse female leaders and board members. The Equality on Board Awards honors exceptional women for their value contribution and performance and celebrates the dedication of their steadfast supporters. Switzerland needs to elevate and showcase more female leaders at the senior and executive levels, including in the C-suite and on boards. We have yet to fully realize the vast potential of female talent in these critical roles. By increasing the visibility and recognition of such role models we want to inspire and encourage women to aspire to leadership roles in general. The Equality on Board Awards features 3 categories: - Women's Board Award: Launched 2019 in Switzerland, it recognizes female directors who have the potential to serve as Chair of the Board. - Emerging Female Talent Award: Recognizes female excellence and performance of women at the highest level of management and on the threshold of becoming a board member. - Supporter Award: Recognizes leaders of all genders, who foster environments where women can succeed, and who clearly drive female leaders and support diversity in leadership.
