EquiTech Therapeutics, LLC's mission is serving as a pioneer in the forward development of CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing for equine diseases and is focused on rapidly moving such transformative therapies towards clinical trials. EquiTech Therapeutics is building a team of world-class researchers and drug developers to work to translate CRISPR/Cas9 technology into breakthrough equine therapeutics. Our lead program targets equine herpes and Coggins diseases. Our company’s unique strengths include the expertise of our team in discovering, manipulating and developing genome editing products using a proprietary versatile lipid nanoparticle delivery system. EquiTech's focus is on both in vivo and ex vivo product development which can help control or even eradicate diseases in our livestock. Such discoveries are eminent in research as they can be extrapolated later for human studies to find cures.
