Horsepower Technologies™ is an animal healthcare and technology company dedicated to combating equine lameness through the commercialization of products that reduce its incidence as well as the rehabilitation times associated with lameness. Horsepower Technologies first product, FastTrack™, is the world’s first rehabilitative orthotic for horses which enables safer and early return to exercise during lameness rehabilitation. FastTrack™ is designed to help rehabilitate horses that have sustained “flexor apparatus” injuries; a series of tendons and ligaments running down the back of the leg. Based on years of innovation and extensive research, FastTrack™ has scientifically demonstrated that it can limit excessive extension of the horse’s fetlock joint, thereby significantly reducing strain on the injured soft tissue and reducing the risk of re-injury. As a result, horses can safely and more quickly resume moderate exercise without exacerbating the injury.
