Everglades Student Association

The Everglades Student Association is a non-profit organization representing students and post-docs from various agricultural related departments (Soil & Water Management, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Plant Breeding, Weed Management, and more) located at the Everglades Research and Education Center (EREC), in Belle Glade, FL. Everglades Student Association is established for the purpose of professional and academic development, to encourage communication and friendship across academic disciplines, and to provide new and experienced students at the EREC with a resource for acquainting one self with the Center and University’s work atmosphere, the south Florida region, and student life in general. It is also a mean to foster leadership roles and responsibilities in student members, and encourage community oriented outreach and extension activities.
