ESBEE Project

Empowering Seychelles Blue Economy Entrepreneurs (ESBEE) is a project funded by the Seychelles Conservation and Climate Adaptation Trust (SeyCCAT) that champions the establishment of formal ocean-based enterprises and service providers committed to sustainable business practices. The ESBEE Project is supported by the 2-year SeyCCAT Blue Grant Fund 7, running from April 2024 to December 2025. It contributes to SeyCCAT's Strategic Objective 5: to trial and nurture business models that ensure the sustainable development of Seychelles' Blue Economy. This initiative aligns with the cross-cutting themes of Education, Training, and Outreach. Our ultimate goal is to transform marine-based business ideas and innovations into formal enterprises that prioritize sustainability while achieving commercial viability. This aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 14, which aims to conserve and sustainably utilize oceans, seas, and marine resources for sustainable development. ESBEE is dedicated to enhancing the sustainability and growth of the Seychelles Blue Economy by empowering entrepreneurs and innovators through comprehensive support.
