Dar El-Esteshfaa Psychiatric Hospital was established in 1999 by Prof Dr Adel Elsheshai, then the head of Psychiatry department in Alexandria Faculty of Medicine. Since then we have been proudly providing mental health services to the Alexandrian community as well as trusting seekers of our services from neighbouring governorates and even from abroad. The hospital is a 25-bed facility that offers a comprehensive set of outpatient and inpatient psychiatric services as well as teaching courses to various members of the mental health team, frequent scientific meetings, and chances for practical training.
