Mamoura Psychiatric Hospital is one of the oldest and largest psychiatric hospitals in Egypt established in 1968. Our inpatient capacity is 948 beds for Psychiatric patients including substance use disorder. The hospital also serves several governorates, including Alexandria, Albuhaira, Matrouh and Kafr al-Sheikh.
Furthermore, we serve patients of different age groups and has adults, geriatric and adolescent units as well as a forensic unit.
The hospital also provides comprehensive health care for in-patients including services of internal medicine, surgery, dental services, dermatology and opthalmology.
Services within the hospital also range from medical psychiatric services, psychotherapy sessions and recreational rehabilitation services for patients.
تعد مستشفى المعمورة واحدة من أقدم واكبر المستشفيات النفسية في مصر إذ تم انشاءها عام ١٩٦٨م، كما تحتوي المستشفى علي ٩٤٨ سريرا لحجز المرضي من مرضي الأمراض النفسية و الإدمان. كما تقوم المستشفى بخدمة العديد من المحافظات منها الإسكندرية والبحيرة ومطروح وكفر الشيخ.
وتستقبل المستشفى المرضي من مختلف الأعمار فيوجد أقسام للبالغين والمسنين والمراهقين وأيضا قسم للطب الشرعي.
وتقوم المستشفى أيضا بتقديم رعاية صحية شاملة لمرضي الأقسام الداخلية من خدمات طب الباطنة والجراحة والأسنان والجلدية والرمد.
كما تتنوع الخدمات داخل المستشفى من تقديم الخدمة الطبية النفسية وخدمة الجلسات النفسية و الخدمات الترفيهية والتأهيلية للمرضي.
