ET Nexus is a young company founded by members of 4D Global Energy Advisors, a Paris-based Oil & Gas development capital fund management company and long-time member of EVOLEN (www.evolen.org), the French association of businesses serving the energy industry. ET Nexus is carrying out a venture capital fund project for a target amount of €120 million intended to finance breakthrough innovations in the energy transition, including those related to the hydrocarbons sector.
The founding team has extensive investment, financial, industrial and technological experience in the energy world and more specifically in supporting the growth or transformation of small-to-mid size businesses in the hydrocarbons sector. ET Nexus wishes to bring this knowledge to EVOLEN and its members mainly active in this sector to advise and help them succeed in their energy transition towards a low carbon energy world in particular from an innovation angle.
This activity within EVOLEN is linked to our strategy and position as a partner member among 11 industrial groups or institutions partners of EVOLEN’ UP (www.evolenup.com), the EVOLEN's accelerator for start-ups. The ET Nexus strategy within EVOLEN' UP is mainly focused on Venture Capital aimed at start-ups & scale-ups carrying disruptive innovations in the energy transition
Our goal alongside EVOLEN and EVOLEN’ UP is multiple:
• Become a venture equity financing value proposition for energy transition start-ups,
• Provide in parallel strategic, financial and investment advice altogether as an essential complement to the technological, industrial and market expertise provided to these start-ups by the EVOLEN’ UP industrial corporate partners, and
• Promote as a result the start ups’ potential for commercial development (scale-up) in a full value creation process to stakeholders and investors
