Jaca Encantada

Jaca Encantada is the brand created by Torus, Circular Hub to spread plant-based gastronomy, through non-timber forest extraction with the management of jackfruit trees, which is an invasive exotic species. Develops delicious products and dishes with organic ingredients and artisanal hand made local production. Jaca Encantada is part of the Vale Encantado Sustainable Development Pole project, a traditional community located in the buffer zone of Parque Nacional da Tijuca (Tijuca's National Park, a Conservation Unit), immersed in the Atlantic Forest of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. There, in times without the Covid-19 pandemic, ecological tourism and authentic gastronomy experiences are promoted with the Vale cooperative.
