Dr. Eric Boinard is a product development and innovation expert with a proven track record of delivering market-winning solutions in highly regulated environments.
With a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Strathclyde, Eric combines technical depth with commercial acumen. Over his career, he has managed innovation pipelines worth over $40 million in NSV. He has also led the development of proprietary manufacturing processes and several patented technologies.
Eric’s experience spans a wide range of materials—plastics, metals, ceramics, glass, elastomers, and composites—and manufacturing methods including injection moulding, laminating, additive manufacturing, thermoforming, and more. He has a strong track record of stakeholder engagement across public agencies, R&D consortia and internal teams, and has successfully secured and delivered funded innovation programmes.
He holds qualifications in Lean Six Sigma, Intellectual Property, and Innovation Management, and is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM), and an active member of BSI.
